"La Brontë" is an old and restored Galician house that will improve over time with a simple Provencal and elegant decoration. It is located between the mountains of Terra de Montes (Soutelo de Montes, Cerdedo, Aciveiro ...), in Forcarei, specifically in a bucolic town called "Igrexa" of the Parish of Dúas Igrexas. La Brontë is surrounded by romanticism, fresh air, nature and folklore.

Terra de Montes is the place of wonders where you can enjoy incredibly wonderful views loaded with folk, heritage and tradition. You can practice mountain and hiking sports knowing our ancient history where you will contemplate Celtic, Roman, Templar or Medieval symbols in general.

Here, one of the most important rivers in Europe is born due to its importance in the migration of animals in the "European glacial epoch", the Lérez River. Through its passage you will observe delights such as Serra do Candán or Monte O Seixo, landscaping full of magic and symbolism in its large stones. Lush and green landscaping to the height of Ireland or Scotland.

The name of our country house La Brontë is a tribute to the wonderful writers of romantic literature of the Victorian era, the Brontë Sisters (Charlotte, Emily and Anne)

The house is surrounded by fifteen houses with a good neighborhood, mostly old, dedicated to agriculture and livestock with the production of organic and ecological products. It is an old and restored house (the dining room was where the animals were kept) with a simple, romantic, recycled and cozy decoration for its visitors. Fully equipped except telephone and internet.

The fireplace is traditional and heating because it has a process that heats all the heaters in the house naturally and ecologically with the wood itself. We also have heating in all rooms (including bathrooms) with diesel. The iron oven also heats the kitchen and the living room. This oven makes great pizzas. And the firewood is free.

In the house you will also receive, free of charge, a basket full of seasonal vegetables from our own organic garden, or other eco and Galician products to have a more natural, rural and healthy stay. Visitors can get milk, eggs and cheeses from the neighborhood or from other nearby villages. This can be reserved before your arrival.

We also have tourist information about the area and a play cupboard with small collections of books, stationery, films and board games, for all ages for "rest hours" or bad weather, so enjoy the inside the house in the company of the warm fireplace.
