Even though the first impression of the city may seem very small the possibilities that Palma offers make it seem as if it were a city ten times bigger. Native gastronomy with recipes such as the 'tumbet' 'frit', ´el 'pa amb oli' and ample offers of local and international. If you like the Tapas do not miss out on the 'Ruta Martiana' in the old town of Palma a gastronomic event to sample tapas, beers and 'Majorcan wines' in a very animated environment during the week. La Ruta consists of 12 bars and restaurants from the old town: Moltabarra, La Gran Taberna, La Ruta del Té, Bar Boya, La Bravo, Noodle Bar, D’en Coll, Manhattan, Café Riparo, St. Ambrós, es Forn de Sa Llotgeta y L’Ambigú. The price of the tapa and wine or beer is very cheap every Tuesday starting at 19:30 in the old town of Palma. Mallorca predominates the Majorcan offer, but you will also find Mediterranean gastronomy, international, Italian, Basque and Galician. Sample a delicious traditional ice cream or a chocolate with ensaimadas.

In the Old Town of the city you will find a variety of artisan shops and street markets in the Main Square and Streets (right next to the apartment).
