The village of Porrua has four hundred inhabitants, mostly farmers. The house is located on the outskirts. Beyond is all field and forest. the cock crowing and cow bells is heard. At night, the frogs in the nearby river. Perfect place to rest.
The village houses the Ethnographic Museum of Eastern Asturias. Two companies produce artisan cheese with denomination of origin, yogurt and fresh milk. It has a typical cider house, a bar and a shop for basic necessities.
San Justo parties are held in summer and winter San Julian. also highlights the Mercao Astur, medieval craft fair.

There is no public transport, although there are taxis and car hire. You can walk to the nearest beaches, although it is a walk. For longer stays it is better to have car.
