Alfama 6 is located at 15, Chao da Feira Street, 2nd floor (no lift), right in front of the walls and entrance arch of Sao Jorge Castle.

Walking in this centuries old neighbourhood is like diving into history: Lisbon was born here and grew along the centuries towards the river.
The area is mostly pedestrian, extremely picturesque, composed of cute narrow streets and tiny quares.
During the day the quarter is usually crowded, as are the small grocery stores, local restaurants and fado houses. In the evening the human tide that visits the Castle vanish into other parts of town and the quarter turns to be very quiet and calm.

Alfama 6 is on a 2nd floor (no lift) of an old building. Apartment was completele and tastefully renovated in 2015 to 21st Century needs and standars, without loosing its historical charm. It is bright, cheery and filled with modern conveniences.

From the front of the building you have nice views over the Castle walls and entrance arch, as well as, the street itself, always full of life during the day. 737 bus stop is right in front of the building, very convenient in case you do not feel like climbing up from downtown!
