About This Property

Welcome to an authentic Mallorcan town house, a historic terraced property that has preserved the true essence of traditional Mallorca. This is not a soulless renovation, but a home full of character, history and unique cultural value, carefully looked after and passed down through generations by the owner’s family. Its marés stone façade (Mallorca’s iconic local sandstone) immediately reflects the original style of these old village houses.

As you enter, the beautifully preserved historic hallway transports you to another time: the house is decorated with traditional pieces and unique objects from Mallorcan rural life, many of them belonging to the family, creating an authentic and warm atmosphere that is increasingly rare today. From the entrance hall, on the left-hand side, you will find the first ground-floor bedroom, equipped with a double bed.

Moving further into the property, you reach a spacious and charming dining area, ideal for sharing time with family or friends. Next to the dining room is the second bedroom, which is truly special: a historic traditional Mallorcan kitchen that has been converted into a bedroom, retaining original features and the charm of the traditional home.

The current kitchen is also located on this floor and is fully equipped with everything you need to cook comfortably during your stay, with no essential items missing. From the kitchen you access the first living room, a typical Mallorcan village lounge with sofas, a cosy atmosphere and a wood-burning stove, perfect for relaxing, reading or enjoying the evenings in a home full of personality. On the ground floor you will also find the first bathroom, complete and practical, with a walk-in shower and all necessary amenities.

From the kitchen you can step outside, where the house offers one of its greatest highlights: a private patio ideal for enjoying the outdoors, with an exterior dining area and BBQ. The patio also features a small traditional “safareig”, a typical Mallorcan water basin where you can soak and cool off on hot days; it is important to note that this is not a conventional swimming pool, but a traditional water feature designed for dipping in and out to refresh yourself.

Upstairs, accessed via the staircase from the main dining area, you will find a second lounge which adds even more space and allows guests to spread out comfortably when staying with family or friends. On this floor are the final two bedrooms: to the left of the upstairs lounge there is a twin bedroom with views of the patio, and to the right there is a spacious double bedroom with views of the street.

The house also includes a truly special detail that reinforces its family history: a small museum in the basement, which is not accessible to guests, but remains part of the soul of the home. From the dining room, part of the lower area can be seen, where antique pieces connected to the history of the house and the village have been preserved.

Another key highlight is the location: the house is in Sa Pobla, one of Mallorca’s most traditional towns, with real local life, authentic gastronomy and all essential services (supermarkets, shops and local businesses) without relying on tourist areas. It is also strategically located near the Inca motorway, providing easy access to any part of the island, and especially to some of the best beaches in the north such as Alcúdia, Pollença and Can Picafort.

The property does not offer private parking, however it is easy to find parking nearby.

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire property, including all indoor areas and the outdoor patio. They may freely use the entrance hall, main dining room, fully equipped kitchen, both lounges (one on the ground floor and one upstairs), the four bedrooms and the two full bathrooms.

Outside, guests can enjoy the private patio with outdoor dining area and BBQ. They may also use the small traditional “safareig” located in the patio to cool off on hot days (this is not a conventional swimming pool).

There are no shared areas with other guests. The house is rented exclusively to one group.

The basement/family museum is not accessible to guests.

A Government of the Balearic Islands tax. This is charged separately via a payment link.
