Masoala is a fantastic traditional Canarian house from the XVIII century, restored for rural tourism, but keeping all its ancestral essence. Located in the northern part of Tenerife island, in a fantastic area surrounded by vineyards. At 400 meters above sea level, it is the ideal place for a relaxing vacation with a cool climate that allows the growth of lush vegetation which can be enjoyed in the various corners of its pleasant garden, as well as enjoying an amazing view of the Teide volcano and the surrounding wine area.
Masoala is an excellent starting point to discover the spectacular landscapes and places of the island. From its nearby and exciting ancient Laurisilva forests as Agua Garcia or Anaga, passing through comfortable walks to small, lush and extinct craters of volcanoes hat are real eyes of the forest, but without forgetting the wine region surrounding Masoala with its unique wineries. Mesa del Mar and El Pris are the nearest beaches and are located about 4 km from the house. The airport of Los Rodeos Norte is only 5 km away; at 15 minutes driving you will find beautiful cities like La Laguna, La Orotava or Puerto de la Cruz, and a little further is Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
On the first floor of this traditional house there is a large fully equipped kitchen with fireplace, a bathroom, and a surprisingly large museum-like-living room with curious objects but also with two comfortable sofas, which in turn make double beds. Upstairs, a magnificent creaky wooden floor welcomes you to 2 double bedrooms and a third bedroom with 3 single beds; plus a second bathroom.
