Casa Letizia is a cozy one-room apartment located on the mezzanine floor of an elegant building 30 meters from the famous Due Torri. We are in the real historical center of Bologna. in an ideal position to reach museums, theaters, Piazza Maggiore, St. Peter's Basilica, the famous Piazza Santo Stefano and the historic 'Pescherie Vecchie' market in a few minutes on foot. At home, numerous brochures will show you the routes to discover the city and you will be updated on all current events. Rain or snow, sun or wind, with its almost 40 kilometers of ancient arcades, Bologna is a unique city in the world (the arcades of Bologna are an Italian cultural asset candidate as a UNESCO "World Heritage"). In the area there are numerous restaurants, trattorias with typical Bolognese cuisine, wine bars, places to have an aperitif surrounded by the suggestive medieval buildings of the historic center of Bologna (we have the oldest university in the world). The Margherita Gardens can be reached on foot in 5 minutes (27 hectares of greenery). From Central Station: bus line A
From Marconi Airport: Bus BLQ line San Pietro stop, then 10 minutes on foot.
From the center you can reach the fair by bus (15 minutes) to the S. Orsola Hospital on foot (10 minutes). From Bologna you can quickly reach the most beautiful Italian cities by train: Venice, Florence, Siena, Ferrara, Parma, Ravenna. If you love motors, Bologna is the home of the famous Ducati company where you can visit the beautiful DUCATI MUSEUM. The historical center of Bologna is a limited traffic zone (ZTL) from 7 to 20 it is not allowed to enter by car. However, daily permits can be purchased. On Saturdays and Sundays part of the center becomes a pedestrian zone (from the Two Towers) and it is pleasant to walk through the city. There are several paid parking in the historic center and outside the center, easily accessible by public transport.
