The places easily reachable from the town are: The Valli Cupe (about half an hour by car) located near Sersale and characterized by natural waterfalls immersed in the wildest nature where it is possible to track; the Archaeological Park of Capocolonna (20 minutes away) a large area located on the wonderful promontory of Capocolonna where, besides the extraordinary view of the Ionian sea sailed by the Greeks, it is possible to visit the column of the temple of Hera Lacinia with the museum of Magna Grecia; also in just 40 minutes by car you can reach the Sila National Park, the most important mountain range in Calabria with its 1600 meters above sea level.
