The Sienese countryside and the neighboring villages of Torrita, Montepulciano and Pienza. Only 4 km far there is the town of Torrita di Siena, ancient fortified castle guarding Siena's southern borders. Today the village is a modern town endowed with all stores and services you might need and offers interesting folk and cultural events throughout the whole year. You can plan interesting trips or day excursions to visit the nearby Siena 50 km, Pienza 16 km, Montepulciano 10 km or Cortona 30 km. The road leading to the house (approx. 3 km) is unmade and quite steep in parts. The furnishing is in Tuscan style and particularly tasteful and comfortable.
