The Basilico apartment is part of the Il Poderino farmhouse located in the medieval village of Chianni, 30 km from Volterra and 6 km from the charming spa town Casciana Terme.
The apartment located on the first floor consists of a large living room with a built-in kitchen, a granite top, a double bedroom with ample space for the possible addition of a single bed for children, a bathroom with a shower and a window.
The living room window has a panoramic view of the front of the house with olive and vines and that of the bedroom and bathroom on the back with a view of the rolling hills and swimming pool in the distance.
It has digital terrestrial TV.
The apartment can accommodate up to two children (up to 12 years) on the sofa bed in the living room or single bed in the double bedroom. Available to all guests is a large porch equipped with tables, chairs and a barbecue, a completely sunny infinity edge swimming pool but with a gazebo for fresh refreshment and entirely surrounded by a breathtaking panorama of natural colors in the various months, green, red, yellow, bronze.
For free use of guests, the fully exposed lounge with barrel vaults, once used for the storage of wines, where you will find dining tables, sitting area with digital terrestrial TV, DVD player, ping pong table and darts. The company is located in a strategic place, a perfectly placed starting point, close to the routes that lead to the beautiful cities of art in Tuscany, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence, Lucca and many others.
Choosing to stay at our farm means being able to decide to enjoy the relaxation of the real countryside, perhaps by taking a bath in our almost always gently ventilated swimming pool, or quickly reaching the sea about half an hour away, or visiting the famous nearby cities of art as well as the suggestive and characteristic villages that are around like Chianni medieval village with nature trails, Terricciola with its wine cellars, Lari with its beautiful castle of the vicars, Casciana Terme with its wellness path and not only, Pontedera with the its Piaggio museum, Laiatico with its theater of Silence created by the famous tenor Bocelli, the most particular amphitheater in Italy, Calci a magnificent example of Baroque with its Charterhouse, Palaia with its museum of peasant civilization etc ... maybe taking a walk by bike or on foot.
