Apartment

Our holiday home is located in the heart of Ortigia, the island and historic center of Syracuse, a UNESCO heritage site, in a historic 19th century building, recently renovated and restored to its original splendor. The location is perfect: a few steps from the sea, from Fonte Aretusa and halfway between the Duomo and the Maniace Castle.
It is called "Veliero" both for the suggestive view, from one of the two balconies, of the sea, which is about twenty meters away, and for the logistical arrangement of the particularly airy and bright room.
It is a large and bright open space loft, located on the second floor of the building, accessible both from the elegant flight of marble stairs and with a modern and practical panoramic lift.
It consists of a living area and a sleeping area.
Furnished with style and attention to detail, the apartment is characterized by ancient wooden beams and terracotta floors.
A large entrance leads into the characteristic living room illuminated by the ancient chandelier and furnished with antique Sicilian furniture and a double sofa bed. The built-in kitchen is fully equipped; bathroom and dressing room complete the living area.
Through a characteristic wooden and wrought iron staircase, you enter the sleeping area. The loft houses the bedroom, which is also embellished with a pleasant sitting area.
It can accommodate 5 people. For couples, families and friends who do not need separate rooms.
