The apartment is ideal for those who want to arrive early to the most interesting places of the city.
There are many buses, the metro, but if you prefer to walk you can reach the Vatican Museums (5 minutes) or Peter's Church (15 minutes) and head to Castel Sant'Angelo or the center of Rome, across the bridge S. Angelo on the Tiber.
All other cultural sites in the city are easy to reach (feet or meters / bus): Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, Borghese Chalet / Pincio, the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum / Capitol / Fori Imperiali, Trastevere, Gianicolo, Piazza Farnese / Campo dei Fiori, the Termini Station.

The nearby metro station connects to Aurelia station from which you can reach by train (90 minutes) Viterbo 'Papal City', a beautiful medieval town, Bracciano (less time) to visit the castle and the beautiful lake.
