To reach the house you have to walk up a little and then make two storey stairs without elevator, not recommended. The neighborhood is characteristic and consists of small brick streets and a beautiful square where is located the ancient Carmine market, just renovated, in which you can dine. In the square also two nice bars and a great bakery where to buy "focaccia" a typical Genoese bread.
The neighborhood is located near Via Garibaldi, the heart of the old town and one of the most beautiful streets of the city with its palaces and museums. It is a 5-minute walk from the Aquarium, the Expo area the Porto Antico beachfront.
Close to the train station Genoa Piazza Principe and a few minutes from the bus stop.
