Private vacation home
About This Property
Vigne di Salamina consists of Trullo Monte Zuzzu, La Lamia, Casa D'estate, and Casa D'Inverno, where the owners live (not available for rent).
Trullo Monte Zuzzu is an ancient structure with three cones, completely renovated in keeping with tradition and perfectly adapted to the needs of modern living. It consists of a living room, a separate two-seater sofa bed, and a bedroom with a double bed. Niches in the walls serve as bedside tables and a wardrobe, a wooden chest of drawers conceals a large niche for storing luggage and other bulky items. From the living room, through a characteristic arch, you access the compact but fully equipped kitchen. The trullo, perfect for a couple or a family with two children, has a bathroom with a shower and a furnished panoramic terrace.
La Lamia, next to the trullo, is a typical stone building with a "turtle" roof, where a bedroom with a double bed, niches, wardrobe, and a bathroom with a shower are located. Outside, a comfortable terrace equipped with a table, chairs, and a stone seat is shaded by lush plants of rosemary, laurel, and caper.
Casa D'estate, on a natural terrace among centuries-old olive trees and citrus fruits, is a delightful home for two in perfect Mediterranean style, where the white lime enhances the natural elegance of wood and the antique charm of wrought iron furnishings, and the windows frame a panorama that seems painted. It includes a double bedroom with a bathroom, a kitchen-living room, and a large patio with a view of the horizon, offering the best solution to fully enjoy the spectacle of nature in its full vitality.
The owners offer the availability of a chef on request for unique tasting dinners with traditional menus from appetizers to desserts, as well as the opportunity to purchase a superior quality extra virgin olive oil obtained from their organic crops with early harvests.
The strategic location of Vigne di Salamina, halfway between the sea and the Valle d'Itria, allows you to explore the countryside and the sea, nature and culture, art, and tradition in every season. Discover the surprising richness of this extraordinary territory and the entire region: the famous natural attractions of the Grotte di Castellana and the Zoosafari di Fasano; the enchanting historic centers of Ostuni, Alberobello, and other towns in the Valle d'Itria; the medieval monuments of Bari, Castel del Monte, Trani; the baroque treasures of Lecce and Martina Franca; the timeless charm of Matera.
