Inside: the apartment is particularly enhanced by the large 16th-century fireplace and the dream-come-true combination of a large whirlpool tub next to the double bed with a pure latex mattress.

Filtered water and a carbonator are available in the fully equipped kitchen, where you'll find, above the dishwasher, an espresso machine and a kettle for tea, barley, herbal teas, and freeze-dried coffee, as well as a microwave. I recommend a hearty breakfast at the Canasta Bar and Restaurant in Piazza della Libertà, with its windows that open onto the Roman Theater, similar to those in the square itself. Between Corso Mazzini, Piazza del Mercato, and beyond, there are numerous restaurants, trattorias (some with wood-fired pizza ovens), as well as various fast food outlets and traditional eateries.
Don't miss a visit to the Rocca Albornoziana and the Ponte delle Torri, the Duomo, the modern art gallery in Palazzo Collicola, the Archaeological Museum, and the Roman Theater just 200 meters from home.
