Welcome to Casa Mela, a delightful independent cottage located within the private property Appartamenti La Chiusa 1984. The farmhouse, an authentic example of Elban architecture and recently renovated, is immersed in an atmosphere of peace, surrounded by the intense colors and fragrances typical of Mediterranean vegetation.
The location is truly privileged. The picturesque village of Rio Marina and the charming Torre beach are about one kilometer away, easily reachable with a pleasant walk or in just a few minutes by car. The town offers everything needed for a relaxing holiday, including seafront restaurants, lively bars, small local shops, and essential services. Near the property there are also two supermarkets with large parking areas, perfect for everyday needs.

Casa Mela is a charming accommodation for 2 guests, arranged over two levels connected by both an internal and an external staircase, each with independent access.
On the ground floor there is a small, functional kitchen and a bathroom.
The first floor features a cozy double bedroom, ideal for relaxing after a day spent at the beach or exploring the island.
The recent renovation has enhanced every detail, creating an intimate, well-kept, and harmonious atmosphere, perfect for those seeking tranquility and comfort.
Rio Marina is an excellent starting point for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. In addition to scenic hiking trails and routes suitable for e-bikes and mountain bikes, nearby you can discover some of the most beautiful beaches on the eastern coast, such as Ortano, Cala Seregola, Topinetti, Porto Azzurro, and Nisportino, each with its own charm and crystal-clear waters. Also worth visiting are the Mining Museum and the Mining Park, the historical heart of the area. A particularly engaging experience for children, who, equipped with helmet, chisel, and hammer, can have fun searching for minerals and enjoy a truly memorable adventure.

Office hours 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm


Important Notes

Bed linen not included guests may bring their own or request rental at a cost of €20 per person, with at least 24 hours’ notice. Pickup and return take place at the agency, unless otherwise agreed
Children up to 2 years cot not provided. No extra charge if using your own cot or sleeping in the parents’ bed
