Though the property was built when cars were small and few, it can accommodate two cars in the private garden at the entrance level.

In the early 1950’s Argentario became the favourite destination of high society and Hollywood stars, who preferred to relax here in privacy rather than surrounded by the hustle and bustle of other more mundane locations. Limitless free beaches, natural parks, archaeological sites, and all the artistic and cultural heritage of the area surround FIOR DI ROCCIA. Santo Stefano, paramount crossroads to embark for the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, is Monte Argentario’s largest and port town. There are spectacular views from the 17th century Spanish fortress. For those wishing to take just a dip without taking the car, "La Cantoniera" and “Il Moletto"can be reached by foot with a short walk. A few minutes drive away is Porto Ercole, Caravaggio’s final resting place, where you can sip an aperitif absorbing a glamorous retrò vibe of the port town. Orbetello, a WWF protected area, is surrounded by two lagoons decoratively inhabited by pink flamingos and white herons. It is lovely for an evening shopping walk after an aperitif at Giannella or at Feniglia beaches. Enjoy the wealth of Tuscany’s Maremma region: from wine tasting in excellent local wineries including the Antinori family’s Le Mortelle and Tenuta di Monteverro to visiting artistic gardens like The Tarot Garden created by modern artist Niki De Saint Phalle, consisting of a series of huge sculptures depicting the twenty-two Greater Arcana. In contrast, the nearby Capalbio is a medieval village, crowned by the imposing Aldobrandesca Fortress.

The ground floor opens onto a bright and airy living space and dining area with wide windows overlooking the garden and the sea. Touches of contemporary design alternate with vintage style pieces.
The kitchen is fully equipped to satisfy even sophisticated cooks and has a direct access to the garden from the back to guarantee maximum privacy.
The laundry room is conveniently located in an annex and is equipped with both washing machine and drier.
A marble staircase leads to four bedrooms on the second floor, all with French doors that open on a balcony with a sea view. Interiors are relaxing, cool and naturally elegant, ideal for a well-deserved rest after a day spent on the beach or on a trip by boat out at sea. From here, another staircase leads to the wide roof-terrace with sea view, perfect for a sunrise or a sunset yoga session…
