The small seaside resort Fanusa, with its cliffs and small sandy beaches, is located about 12 km south from Syracuse. The rocky coasts are flat and walkable. Larger sandy beaches are about 3.5 km (Lido Arenella) and about 7 km (Fontane Bianche - beautiful public sandy beach) from the villa; Lido Arenella is one of the best organized and most beautiful private beaches of Eastern Sicily. The resort offers a bus service every 90 minutes to Syracuse.

Distances from Casa Fanusa:

Some grocery stores within 2 km, bar at 2 km, pizzeria and restaurants about 7-12 km away (Fontane Bianche or Syracuse), bus stop at 1 km, phone box at about 2 km, newsagent at about 8 km (only in the summer season). The shopping centres Carrefour and Lidl are in Syracuse.

Fanusa is a small seaside village, located between the famous Fontane Bianche and Syracuse, with accessible coastlines and small sandy beaches. The detached house Casa Fanusa is located directly on the rocky coast of Fanusa, with direct access to the sea. Approximately 500 m away there is a small sandy beach.

Outside accommodation:

A beautiful veranda in front of the house overlook the garden and is perfect for relaxing or enjoying meals. Inside the garden with lawns and olive trees there is the aboveground pool (10x5m, open from 01/05 to 30/09) at personal use of its guests. There is also a sandy beach volley field for relaxed moments.

From the garden one reach the private access to the rocky beach where you can simply enjoy the scent and the touch of the sea, sitting immediately in front of it. We advice to bring rubber shoes as the

rocky beach may be slippery.

Conclusion: Casa Fanusa is the ideal place to enjoy a totally relaxing holiday. Syracuse and the baroque town of Noto are not far away for a day trip.

This wonderful property set in a quiet and sea-facing location offers accommodation with adequate furnishings for up to four people.

Few steps lead to a bright and inviting living room with large windows overlooking the garden, the pool and part of the sea which is only a few foot steps away. The living room is divided in different areas which offers a generous dining table, a small sitting area with upholstered furniture and an tiny corner

with open fire place.

From the living room you reach the spacious and eat in kitchen with pizza oven, four gas rings and dishwasher.

Always from the living room one reach the two bedrooms both with double and air conditioning. Baby cot provided.

One bathroom with shower/WC and washing machine. The terrace at the first floor is reached through a staircase and represent the perfect place to enjoy the views over the garden and the sea.

If the kitchen is left uncleaned (dishes washed, rubbish thrown away, sink and kitchen furniture tidied up) €50 will be required for this extra cleaning.
