The oven house, ideal for four people, on a gross surface of 114 square meters, consists of two double / twin bedrooms, a sofa bed with two single beds and a bathroom with shower. In the large built-in kitchen, there is an ancient wood oven, dating back to the early years of the last century, fully functional.
Television and independent air conditioning system in each room. The wooden roof is with exposed beams.
The double entrance from the internal beam allows a large autonomy of the individual rooms.
The Tenuta Carcara farm, always owned by an ancient Sicilian family, covers an area of over 48 hectares, cultivated with certified organic method. A large part of the company surface, due to its peculiar characteristics, is subject to landscape restrictions.
The surrounding Iblea countryside is colorful, with the changing of the seasons, with soft autumn colors, intense winter green and golden summer yellow and combined, on the horizon, with the intense blue of the sea.
The farmhouse is served by two large paved courtyards, overlooked by houses and certain structures in common use, such as the "stallion", the "carretteria", the garden of over 3,500 m2 which, if you wish, will allow you to share your stay with other guests.
Tenuta Carcara, located in south-eastern Sicily, is a short distance from the most beautiful sites in the Val di Noto, such as Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Scicli, Noto and a few kilometers from the nightlife and the tourist port of Marina di Ragusa, easily reachable nearby seaside and beach resorts in Hyblaea, from the archaeological evidence of Kamarina, to the splendid beach of Sampieri and Punta Secca (where you will find the home of Commissioner Montalbano). During the day it is possible to reach Syracuse, Catania, Taormina and even Malta, just an hour away from the port of Pozzallo.
