You will find peace and quiet in this villa which is a short walk to the centre of Maussane-les-Alpilles (5 minutes). The property, which has air conditioning throughout, is thoughtfully laid out with 3 double bedrooms and capacity for 6 people. The house is 125m2 and the garden is 1345m2.

It has a fully equipped kitchen with every item you may need for an enjoyable vacation opening onto a patio / dining area overlooking the pool and garden.

There is a large communal lounge-dining room area which offers plenty of comfortable relaxing space with French windows opening into the garden/patio /BBQ area. There is a SMART TV and Wifi (internet).

The bedrooms comprise of:

1.MASTER BEDROOM: The master bedroom is on the first floor, with a south facing balcony; it includes a Queen sized bed with a wall-length closet and has access to the bathroom which includes a large bath, shower and toilet.

​2. GROUND FLOOR BEDROOM 1 A double room with a large wardrobe/closet and a shared ground-floor shower room.

​3. GROUND FLOOR BEDROOM 2 A spacious double room with a large wardrobe/closet, opening on to a separate south facing terrace and a shared ground-floor shower room, .

There is also a separate toilet with a sink on the ground floor.

Outside is a south-facing terrace, with plenty of seating areas and sun loungers to relax on and enjoy the sunshine of Provence. A private pool, barbecue and spacious grounds, all screened by hedges, flowering laurels and roses make this a haven to hide away with your family.

The property is not suitable for children under 12 years of age and has a house alarm to use when you are away from the property.

Maussane is a delightful, active village all year round with a thriving central square with cafe bars and many quality restaurants. It hosts several festivals and concerts over the summer months.

It has excellent boulangeries for fresh bread and morning croissants, a well stocked artisan delicatessen /fresh fruit and vegetable shops, fromagerie (for fresh cheeses), caviste de vin (local and regional wines), charcuterie (for meats), to name a few.

There are public tennis courts in the village, three golf courses near-by (2 private in Les Baux and Mouries and one 9-hole municipal course in St Martin de Crau) and numerous sign posted walks in the area. Information from these can be obtained from the central tourist office in the village.

The location, in the Alpilles National Park, is ideal for exploring Provence with its beautiful villages such as les Baux-de-Provence, St Remy, Eygaliéres, and interesting towns, full of ancient history such as Arles, Nimes and Avignon.

Nimes and Marseille Airports are both close-by and car rental is available.

The TGV Rail station in Avignon is equally close, for those preferring to travel by train.

This villa promises to be the perfect base for adventures throughout Provence, or an equally perfect hideaway from the outside world.
