The city of Chalkida is a vibrant urban area, full of history and contemporary sites, all of them surrounded by the sea and the very are current that changes direction every 6 hours! Do not miss the opportunity to stand on the old bridge and watch that current change direction. Also, the old bridge opens every night for all sorts of ships to go by and continue their journey. The city has a wide variety of water sports for everyone, tennis club, football fields and a rowing and canoe kayak club.
