The apartment Giovannis is part of the Vrondos residence

This beautiful and cozy house “Vrondos” features 4 separate living units on a private plot in the quit village of Faneromeni, far away from mass tourism. It is the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy some quiet vacations. This great house has 280 square meters along 2 levels. The history goes back to the beginning of the past century. The down part of the house, now renovated and made up to two nice family apartments, used to be the storage space and the stable. The upper part, used to be the parental home, is divided in two to create two spacious apartments.

The apartment Giovanni has as eye catcher the old tiles with drawings. With his 50 square meters it is a comfortable apartment, an amicable place to disconnect.
You enter the open plan kitchen – living area which includes all you need to cook during your vacation: cooker, oven, coffee machine …
In addition it has a dining table for 4 and it is air-conditioned.
From the kitchen you have access to the private patio, balcony. The bedroom is situated on the same level and has immediately access to the en suite bathroom.

The apartment is spacious enough to accommodate easily up to 4 persons. There are 2 single beds in the master bedroom and the cozy couch can be transformed to a comfortable double bed.

Both upper part units count with their comfortable exterior area for breakfast or just to enjoy a drink in the evening. Their balcony is really the perfect place to savor the nature, to sunbath or to gaze to the stars at night. You will be astonished by the wonderful panoramic view to the village and the mountains. The whole complex is built with thick stone walls from 60 cm. This provides a cool indoor environment.

The ground level has a common barbeque terrace. This patio can be used by all the guests.
A huge garden with lemons, oranges, olive trees borders at the ground terrace.
Bicycles are available, free for use, upon request.

The small village of Faneromeni is located in the south part of Crete. It is located in a scenic location, in a verdant valley at the southern foot of Psiloritis mount with altitude of 80 meters. You want miss out on local village cosiness. Mini market, coffee shops, church gas station are in the village. Bigger supermarket, bank, etc. can be found on 12 kilometres distance in the village of Timbaki or Mires.
The dam of Faneromeni is the gem of the village. The artificial lake covers an area of approximately 1000 acres and has a capacity of 20 million cubic meters. It was constructed in 2005 in order to meet the increased demand for irrigation of the Mesara plain. In those few years of operation, this lake of Faneromeni has become an extremely important wetland, where rare birds and animals nest. A walk in the dam during the spring is a wonderful experience.
