Chalet

Les Coquelicots is a chic 4 bedroom chalet that sleeps 10 (if four children use the bunk room). It is furnished to a high standard and has its own garden and parking places. It is ideally located in Le Pré (Devant) village about 300m from the chair lift that takes skiers up to Les Arcs 2000.
The village is entered after you see the Le Pré sign on your right (not via the ski lift carpark and La Ferme)
This quiet typical Savoie village is on the edge of the réserve naturelle des Hauts de Villaroger, a beautiful pine forest. It is also only 30 minutes by car from Tignes/ Val D'Isere/ Les Rosiers/ St Foy.

There are two restaurants open in the winter and one in the summer. No cars are needed once in the village, apart from when a supermarket is needed. We advise that you do your main shop on your way through Bourg St Maurice at Super U as that is the nearest large supermarket. There is a small épicerie in St Foy Tarentaise (a 7 minute drive from the chalet)

Les Coquelicots is perfect for those who want a ski in ski out winter experience or a peaceful and natural alpine summer holiday.

Les Coquelicots is situated on the upper edge of this charming village. Having parked outside the chalet (snow permitting), you enter on the ground floor into the hall from which you can access the twin and bunk rooms as well as a bathroom, a walk-in shower room, a loo, the TV room and the utility room.The TV room has surround sound and Apple TV so you can log onto Netflix etc. The ski room is accessed off the front of the chalet through a separate door.
From the hall you go up the stairs to enter the living room which is open plan with the dining room and kitchen. There is a fire place. The kitchen is recently modernised and is fully equipped with a gas/electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, ice maker, drinks fridge, two fridges, and Nespresso machine. There is crockery and glasses for 10. The dining area has a table that seats 10. There is an integrated Sonos music system with subwoofer. There are many games available.
On this floor there is access to a balcony at the front of the chalet, another larger balcony facing south and a patio with a BBQ area. These areas have lighting/ parasols/ dining furniture.
Another flight of stairs takes you to the top floor where there are two lovely bedrooms, one twin, one double (another bedroom is kept locked for the owners) one large bathroom and one shower room both with loos.

We provide some wood stored under the banquette by the fire. Should you need anymore please contact us, there will be a charge for extra supplies.

With regard to ski hire we tend to book ahead with Rental Republic (via their website)
They will then deliver your ski kit to the chalet at your convenience.

There are many ski schools in Les Arcs some of whom will come over to Le Pré for private lessons. There is a small nursery slope in the village and the first lift is free and offers an easy blue back to the village.
