20 minutes from Florence, in Chianti, close to the delightful villages of Impruneta and Greve only a few miles away from the Rome-Milan motorway, the house is an oasis of peace and tranquillity in the Tuscan hills.

Just 12 Km from the center of Florence, la Casa Nova is a classic and spacious completely modernised Tuscan farmhouse in the "Gallo Nero", (black rooster), wine producing Chianti region. It stands on approximately 2.4 acres of land, with a small vineyard, rows of olive trees, lawns and flowers, and an orchard providing fruit and vegetables in season. There is a large terraced swimming pool and comfortable teak lounge-chairs with white cotton upholstered cushions.
The house, which is made of stone and has a large front arch, is on two floors and sleeps 9 people. The ground-floor includes a dining room, a living room, a study, both with fireplaces, a huge fully equipped kitchen with a fireplace for barbecues, a laundry-room with a washing machine, a service bathroom and a guest bathroom. The top floor has 3 double bedrooms, 3 single bedrooms, a study off the main bedroom and 3 bathrooms, all equipped with modern appliances, bathtubs and showers. All rooms have breathtaking views of the countryside and of the garden with its pines, cypresses, oleanders and olive trees and given the thickness of the walls the house is cool in the summer and warm in winter (centrally heated throughout). A travertine marble table with teak benches and 2 armchairs under a rose arbor by the swimming pool and another with folding armchairs and a large white market umbrella at the front of the house, make it possible to have most meals outdoors during six months of the year.
