In this wonderful part of Italy you will find the major attractions of Florence, Siena, Cortona, Arrezzo, Assisi and Perugia all within easy. There is a main line train station near Cortona, particularly useful for Florence, Arrezzo and Rome. A local single track railway connects with San Sepolcro and Perugia.

Local towns offer weekly markets, supermarkets, banks, post offices, doctors' surgeries, pharmacies, garages. Within half an hour's drive there are innumerable restaurants and pizzerias.

And you will be charmed by the many old, well-preserved towns in the region, which are well worth a visit for architecture, museums, markets, shops and restaurants. We are always happy to provide further information about places of interest.

Lake Trasimeno is approx. 45 mins drive away and has beaches, water sports, boat trips to the islands and opportunities for bird watching.
