Set in the peaceful village of Sixt Fer a Cheval at the end of the delightful Giffre Valley, this area of France offers a multitude of summer activities (walking, cycling, mountain climbing, via ferrata, white water rafting) as well as the full sweep of winter sports activities being one of the five linked villages of the Grand Massif ski area. There are also numerous opportunities to observe the local wildlife of the nature reserve, including a breeding pair of Bearded Vultures. The accommodation comprises the upper two floors of the old village 'Epicerie', recently refurbished to a very high standard by local craftsmen.
