The house is situated near to Cala Montgo. The old fishing town is 5 mins drive, with many shops and restaurants, the speciality being fish. L'Escala is located on the Bay of Roses, its beautiful beaches make it an ideal place for family holidays. There are plenty of nearby places to visit, Figueres with the Dali museum and the cultural city of Girona. La Bisbal is famous for ceramics, the lovely medieval villages of Pals and Peratellada boasts many historic buildings. Empuries has the most extensive Greco and Roman ruins and the small village of St Marti has many good restaurants offering local food and wines of the region. The resort offers the opportunity for water sports, horse riding and scuba diving. Also Internet is available.
