Just 5 minutes walk from the marina will bring you to the golden sands of Playa Dorada beach which is very clean and sheltered. It has two beach bars and a few cafes nearby. A further 5 minutes walk will bring you into the Old Town of Playa Blanca. This is where the ferry leaves for Fuertaventura. The coastal promenade starts here, goes through the marina and finishes near Papagayo. Fabulous for walkers.
This has to be one of the very best areas in the whole of the Canary Islands, coupled with year long sunshine, makes it an ideal holiday destination for families and couples.
