The property was converted from its derelict state, to a traditional villa / farmhouse of the highest standard, keeping the property’s original and traditional charm whilst responding to modern needs.

Tal-Bjar is the perfect place for those travelers looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday on the magical Island of Gozo, in a comfortable, well planned property.


Tal-Bjar consists of 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8+), all having an en-suite bathroom/ shower room . All 4 bedrooms come equipped with ceiling fans and air-conditioners (on a pay- per- use card system). All rooms are flooded with natural light and are very airy.

The villa / farmhouse boasts stunning unobstructed sea and country views, right from the pool deck, kitchen, living room and 3 of its 4 bedrooms. The early and late summer months offer spectacular sunsets right from these viewpoints.

The fully equipped spacious kitchen and cozy living room conveniently overlook the private pool, outdoor dining and BBQ area. The indoor dining area, suitably just off the kitchen, comfortably caters for 8 people. For further practicality, there is a spare toilet both inside and outside next to pool.

The outdoors consists of a good sized private sunny overflow pool with an open Jacuzzi, a BBQ, a large teak outdoor dining table, teak loungers, adequate shading and pool shower.

Great emphasis is placed on the property’s cleanliness when handed over and that the guests are also attended to appropriately during their stay. We also choose to personally welcome guests ourselves and show them around the house on arrival providing some useful local tips and answering any questions one may have.

Tal-Bjar is located just a short walk/ 2 minute drive away from Gozo’s most popular attraction - Dwejra Bay, with it's dramatic coast, the imposing Fungus Rock, Watch Tower and the picturesque Inland Sea.

The property is conveniently within close distance from minimarkets and restaurants and just a 5 minute drive from the Island's City Centre and it's imposing Citadel.

The property undergoes thorough maintenance during the lesser busy periods, and improvements are made on a yearly basis in order to continue to raise the standard and enhance the quality of each stay at Tal-Bjar.
