The Housing Unit is located only 15 km east from Heraklion ( 15 minutes drive on the high way ). It's only 300 meters from the beach and it's sorounded by flowers and olive trees. It has a private entrance and country yard and also a shower outside, which can be used when return from swimming. The area is quite and you can take many walks around to discover the nature. Also in short distance you can find supermarkets, coffee bars and little shops.

In Heraklion you can visit the palace of Knossos, the historical and archaiological museums, the old town of Heraklion with the Lions Square , the Loggia , the Venetian Harbor etc.
Cretan Aquarium , one of the biggest and most interesting Aquariums in the Mediterranean Sea, is only 1km west of our location.
Since we are located in the middle of the island , it makes it ideal for daily excursions all over the island.
