This new summer house is ideal for families with children, and also couples. A majority of the homeowners are Norwegian or British, but there is also owners and guests from several other European countries. The house is situated in a beautiful holiday park, and it is only a short walking distance from the unique Cretan fishermans village called Panormos. The communal pool is next to the house, and it is surrounded by beautiful flowers and palms. The sea is just 100 meters away, and nice sandy beaches can be found in the village. In this small charming village you will find restaurants, shops, cafes and everything you will need for a nice holiday. A brand new supermarket is situated only 100 meters from the holiday complex.
The house has a 35 sqm tiled and furnished terrace partly covered with a pergola, and is accessible both from the living room and directly from the bedroom.
The spacious living room and kitchen has practical furniture and is equipped with new and modern equipment that makes it a nice home during summer holidays and for all year living. Direct access from the living room and kitchen to the terrace and pool. The living room contains both a sofa and a sofabed, and a mobile cot and a baby highchair. You will also find stove, dishwasher, micro oven, refrigerator with fridge and any other equipment you need in the kitchen. Free wi-fi, tv, DVD and air condition is also available in the living room and kitchen. All windows and the terrace doors can be covered with mobile mosquito nets if necessary. The bedroom is spacious with air condition and a doublebed. There is direct access to the terrace and the pool from the bedroom, and also large closets for clothing, and a safe.
The closet in the hallway contains the washing machine, the water boiler and the ironing board. The bathroom has shower, sink, toilet and a hairdryer.
Parking in the street just 30 to 40 meters from the house. Grocery store (super market) 75 meters from the holiday complex.
Walking distance (8-10 minutes) to the village with restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The village also has ATM, several grocery shops, mini markets, pharmacy, bakery, butcher, hair dressers, rent a car, travel agency, boat hire and so on. There is a short drive (22 km) to nearby town Rethymnon, and 56 km to Heraklion which has an airport. Chania and its airport is 79 km to the west.
The summer house is a nice and cosy home for a quiet Cretan holiday, and a perfect starting point for trips and sightseeing on a fantastic island with very good climate, varied nature and lots of opportunities!
