The lodge is the sister to Valley View House opposite, (which is also available on VRBO), and it has an open-plan sleeping area making it the perfect choice for solo travelers, couples, and smaller families. On the ground floor, there is the living room with a double bed, two single beds, a sofa, TV, table, wardrobe air conditioning, dining table and chairs. The bespoke wooden staircase leads to the upper floor where there is a walk-in shower/toilet, a kitchen with a fridge, sink and all cooking utensils, plates, glasses, kettles, toaster, etc,. On the large furnished balcony on this floor there are two sun loungers, a second outside dining area a BBQ/oven, outdoor kitchen facilities,oven and a storage closet.Wi Fi is available throughout the property.
Heraklion city and airport are is12klm away, Hersonissos 17klm, Agios Nikolaos 50klm, Rethymnon 90klm, and Chania 160klm .which makes Valley View the perfect base for taking daily trips to the famous places on the island Anopolis village is friendly and welcoming, with two kafenions, the Golden Cage taverna in the square and a local fresh food mini-market/ taverna. A short walk from Valley Village Villa is the Anopolis Creta Fiesta which presents regular dancing displays, the Watercity Waterpark, Anopolis Handicraft Park and the prestigious monastery of St Yiannis. Further attractions in the area are the Cretaquarium, the Planetarium, the Dinosaur Park ( 4klm away). A car is recommended and can be parked freely anywhere in the village.
About the owners: Julie and Manthos, have over 40 years of experience in tourism management. They strive to ensure that you will be welcomed and have all the information you need to make the most of your holiday in Crete. Manthos is a retired car rental manager and olive oil producer, Julie, is an ex-travel manager, an international event manager and tour guide. She loves to attend to her guests and is passionate about Crete, property design, and healthy living. They are the proud parents of twins, Stephanie and Marianna who are pianists and doctors of Science and Medicine.
