In the summer months windsurfing, surfing, swimming and snorkelling are perfectly safe in the ocean, right outside the front gate. In the winter months the sea is more suitable for surfing and body boarding. Snorkeling and diving is still available but a wet suit would be recommended.
The sun always shines in Paul do Mar and so sunbathing is always an option!
