Ca' San Sebastiano is a south-facing 100 sq/mtrs canalside apartment on the Dorsoduro, which is one of the quietest and most sought-after areas of Venice. In a building on the corner of 2 canals, it retains it's original spacious layout from it's construction in 1910.
The apartment is 5 minutes from the delightful Zattere and 2 minutes from the lively Campo Santa Margherita. It is close to all the major sights, but away from the main tourist traps, making a stay here restful even in the busiest months. The whole interior has recently been restored. Rooms are bright and spacious and most have moulded plaster ceilings with old Murano chandeliers; floors are of travertine limestone, carrara marble or ceramic sandstone. 2 of the 3 bedrooms look out over the canal and the living room has a very large and comfortable sofabed. The apartment has a separate, well-equipped kitchen.

There are fans in each room and mosquito screens fitted on all but one window. Please note that the air conditioning is limited as indeed it is in much of Venice. If you like 'American-style' airconditioning then this apartment is not for you.

Other features/facilities include fast fibre Internet access, Apple TV box, projector for watching DVDs or connecting your device, DVD player and stereo, film library and a comprehensive selection of Venetian-themed books. There is no television. The apartment is beautifully furnished throughout with a mixture of contemporary and antique styles, including a magnificent Henri II carved walnut bed.
