The property is located at the top of rute and perfect for relaxing. Set in a traditional spanish town Rute has plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. The main high street is about a 10 minute walk from the property, and the property overlooks a beautiful square popular with the locals. There are also a few bars, shops and a patisserie within 100 metres of the front door. The house is a few doors down from the Anis museum which is definitely worth a visit.

The House itself is spread over three floors. On the ground floor is a spacious double bedroom with shower and a separate toilet.
The first floor contains the living accommodation and the main bathroom. The living room has two sofas, a tv and dvd player which is perfect if visiting the property during the winter and has a small Juliet balcony that overlooks the square. There is also a dining room which seats 6 and a fully equipped kitchen.
On the second floor there are two bedrooms; a second double bedroom and a single room (could be a twin if required). Off the hallway of the second floor is the top roof terrace that looks out over the smaller of two beautiful town squares in rute where guests can watch the world go by. The terrace also has a large table which is perfect for al fresco dining.

Please note that although children are welcome at the property the stairs are very steep and as is typical of traditional Spanish houses the property is fully tiled and therefore parents may feel that the property is not suitable for young children.
The property is approximately 1 hour from Malaga airport and 45 minutes from Granada airport.
Local sights include Iznajar which lies 20 minutes away from Rute. Iznajar is a small stunning town that tumbles down the hillside overlooking the lake. Situated just before the town is lake iznajar which hosts a man made beach where visitors can swim and relax in the sun. During the summer months visitors can rent pedalos and kyaks and there is also a community pool near the lake which visitors can use for a few euros and get a drink at the on sight bar.
Cordoba is 45 minutes away where visitors can visit the moorish mezique.
Granada is 1 hr 30 minutes where visitors can visit the famous Alambra or drive to the ski resort.
