Peniche centre, 5 km from Baleal, has further selection of good restaurants, cafes and shops, and everything else one would need. Peniche/Baleal is also a good base for day trips to Lisbon, the medieval town of Obidos, and other sights such as Alcobaca, Fatima and much more.
