If you’re looking for a Traditional Portuguese holiday then our house is the ideal location. The perfect traditional style home with some modernity, Situated just 3 minutes drive from the beautiful sandy beach of Salgado in the quiet village of Famalicao. Famalicao village with cobbled streets, occupies a bakery, a mini market, a couple of cafes and restaurants serving traditional Portuguese cuisine which are all within walking distance from 1 minute to 10 minutes.
The house is situated between Nazare and Sao Martino de Porto resorts, a great location for exploring.
Nearby beaches provide all you will need for your holiday, the quiet beach of Salgado and the traditional fishing village, Nazare, popular with the Portuguese due to the many traditional restaurants, cafes and bars and within 7 minutes drive. Food is excellent wherever you go at very reasonable prices and lets not forget the Portuguese wine! you can buy wines from all regions.
And for Surfers visit the North Beach, now famous for the biggest wave in the world. (just 7 minutes from our house)
In the opposite direction just 7 minutes drive, from the house is Sao Martinho do Porto. one of the most beautiful bays. Excellent for swimming due to its calm waters.
This area is full of historical adventures, visit Obidos, famous for it's quaint beautiful village which sits inside the castle grounds

If you like walking there are some of the most amazing walks from the village which takes you through the forest (see if you can find the dinosaur footprint) and up to the stunning views of Salgado beach and beyond. Binoculars and camera a must.
