About This Property
Villa Polli is an exclusive private estate nestled on the banks of Lake Como, offering 1200 m² of luxurious living space with picture-perfect sunsets. The villa hosts up to 16 adults and several children across two distinct structures designed for comfort and privacy with 7 ensuite bedrooms in the main villa and 1 more bedroom in the boat house:
- Main villa (950 m²): the experience begins on the ground floor with an expansive living area featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, a dining table for 16, a cozy TV den, and a contemporary guest kitchen. A unique natural archway carved through the cliff rock connects the dining space directly to the kitchen. The first floor is dedicated to sleeping quarters, including two luxurious master suites with walk-in closets and fireplaces, alongside three other suites with varied lake and village views. The second attic floor offers two charming suites, one double with arched windows overlooking the lake and a twin bedroom next to the children’s playroom.
- The boat house (200 m²): situated directly on the water's edge, this fully independent structure is ideal for a family. The first floor features a complete guest apartment with a kitchen, living area with cinema projector, bathroom with shower, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and accessed via a spiral staircase to an open attic floor, there are two single beds for children. The bottom floor is a dedicated entertainment hub, housing a games room with billiards, ping-pong, TV, bathroom, and internal stairs leading down into the lake.
- Gym & relax (30 m²): a separate structure adjacent to the main villa houses a fully equipped Technogym fitness area, a bathroom with shower, and an art room offering inspiring views of the lake to enhance your workout or creative sessions.
The private park is a marvel of landscape design, featuring manicured lawns, statues, and terra cotta arches. A natural waterfall cascades down the mossy cliffside, sliding under a bridge into the lake. The heart of the outdoor experience is the freshwater pool, featuring a shallow lounge for sunning and a counter-current unit for swimming laps. Adjacent to the pool, a massive terrace serves as the social hub, complete with an outdoor kitchen, BBQ, and pizza oven for al fresco dining. Guests can enjoy total privacy while unwinding in the jacuzzi with a glass of chilled Prosecco, watching boats glide by in the distance. Resting directly on the shoreline, the estate’s lower level features a private jetty that serves as your exclusive gateway for boat arrivals and refreshing dips in the lake.
Despite its seclusion, Villa Polli is highly accessible. A dedicated hidden passageway allows guests to walk directly into the small local village of Torno, where you can visit bars, restaurants, and a gelateria in the main square. Ideally positioned on the eastern shore with a coveted south-west orientation, the villa sits just a short 10-minute drive from the center of Como. From this central vantage point, the whole lake is yours to discover, with the famous town of Bellagio only a scenic 30-minute drive from your door.

Note:
- The villa has a staff room in the back of the house (free of charge) which can accommodate 2 nannies or helpers in case the parents want some quality ‘me time’ in the evening! In the staff area is also an independent fully-equipped kitchen for chef or staff and a laundry room.
- The swimming pool is open from April to October. It is heated from May to September. Outside of this period it can be heated at extra charge (upon prior request only). Contact us for the exact dates.
- Pets allowed upon prior request only.
- Weddings and events allowed upon prior request (a surcharge may apply).
- Take the private passageway down to the small local village to visit the bars, restaurants and gelateria in the main square.
- The custodians live on the property in the gate house at the entrance with their two children. They speak English, Italian and Spanish. They will not interfere with your stay and, while respecting your privacy, they will be happy to assist and answer you any questions you might have.
- Steps are necessary to reach the villa entrance. There is an exterior freight elevator connecting the parking level to the main villa.
- Due to the layout on several terraced levels and thus various outdoor staircases, please exercise caution, especially with children, near the fenced edges and be mindful that steps may be slippery when wet.

Important: pre-authorization of any in-villa services by external people is required by the owner of the villa, and for some properties the services can be organised only by trusted persons of the owner. Please enquire before booking.
