Villa Il Gelso is a wonderful property with a private peaceful garden set on the shoreline, a classic Italian style villa refurbished into a contemporary home (240 m²) sleeping up to 9 guests in 4 ensuite bedrooms and fully air-conditioned:
- The main level includes a living room with couches and TV and a dining area with access to the garden, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, and toilet.
- There are two bedrooms on the first and two bedrooms on the second floor, each with an ensuite bathroom and a walk-in shower: two doubles and two twins. The two double bedrooms each have a separate adjacent sitting area with TV and couches, one of which contains a sofabed for an extra guest.

The outdoors is a delightful private oasis (450 m²) along the shores for elegant lakeside Como living, with a green manicured lawn and swimming pool, as well as a pergola with stone table and benches offering panoramic views of the lake. A wide patio adjacent to the house features comfortable outdoor couches for alfresco dining and sunset aperitivos. From the garden, you can reach a pebble beach for a relaxing dip in the lake's waters, as well as a pier (where you can easily get on a private boat trip or rent your own boat for the day; we'll be glad to help you with both options).

Villa Il Gelso is situated in the town of Lezzeno. A water skiing club, boat rental, and a restaurant are all nearby and can be reached by a short walk. Lezzeno is conveniently located just 9 km (15 minutes’ drive) from the famed village of Bellagio, making it easy to enjoy Lake Como's most popular central sightseeing destinations, the Golden Triangle (Bellagio - Varenna - Menaggio). Como (20 km or 30 minutes’ drive) is a lively town with several shops and luxury boutiques, bars and restaurants. The Como rail station provides direct links for an easy and popular day excursion to Milan city center.

RENTAL CONDITIONS - VILLA IL GELSO:
Included:
Water, gas, electricity, air conditioning, heating, final cleaning, bed linen plus bathroom and pool towels (mid-week change), wireless internet, smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, baby bed and high chair, barbecue, swimming pool (8 x 4m; depth 1,6m), garden with access to the lake and beach and jetty, parking for 2 cars (see notes below).

Extra to be paid:
- Security deposit (refundable): 800 euro
- Tourist tax: to check upon arrival if applicable

Note:
- Swimming pool opened seasonally approximately from mid-May to mid-October; contact us for the exact dates before booking.
- Domestic animals not allowed.
- Parties or events not allowed.
- The lake access and the size of the beach depends a lot on the changing altitude of the water, it is not regularly cleaned up so debris will wash ashore. Swimming in the lake is possible.
- The villa cannot be accessed directly by car, it can only be reached by going down via outdoors approximately 55 steps. It is therefore not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Important: pre-authorization of any in-villa services by external people is required by the owner of the villa, and for some properties the services can be organised only by trusted persons of the owner. Please enquire before booking.
