Dimora San Lorenzo is a comfortable and well-appointed 2-bedroom apartment with a private courtyard, located in the Castello (San Lorenzo) area of central Venice. It accommodates up to 4 guests and offers a rare combination of central location, privacy, and everyday comfort.

The apartment is within easy walking distance of San Marco and the Biennale, yet set in a quiet residential street next to the local police headquarters. The area is safe, well lit, and pleasantly removed from the busiest tourist routes — ideal for guests who want to explore Venice by day and relax in peace in the evening.

What your stay will be like

You’ll stay in a ground-floor apartment with no internal stairs, which is uncommon in Venice and especially convenient when arriving with luggage or after a long day of sightseeing.

Inside, the apartment combines clean, modern comfort with traditional Venetian details such as exposed wooden beams. The layout is practical and welcoming, suitable for couples, friends, families, and also for guests working remotely.

Guest access & arrival

Guests enjoy exclusive use of the entire apartment and private courtyard.

Self check-in allows flexible arrival once the apartment is ready. Standard check-in is from 3:00 PM, subject to the cleaning schedule. If you arrive earlier, luggage drop may be possible so you can start enjoying Venice right away.

Before arrival, guests will be asked (via VRBO messages) to send photos of ID/passports for all guests, as required by Italian regulations. Detailed arrival and key instructions are provided after booking.

Getting here

From Venezia Marco Polo Airport, you can take the Alilaguna Blue Line water bus and get off at San Zaccaria. From there, the apartment is a short walk.

If you prefer, we can share the contact details of a trusted private water taxi driver who can bring you close to the apartment (payment made directly to the driver).
