It’s located in the cliff top village of Garajau, which has several restaurants, bars, and shops to choose from. A fun ride in the cable car takes you to the local beach and offers the chance to swim in the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Back at the villa, the inviting pool and terrace entice you to relax, unwind, and enjoy all that Villa Sol e Mar has to offer. WiFi and air conditioning/heating in the bedrooms and games room are included.

Villa Sol e Mar is located in the coastal village of Garajau, where spectacular rugged cliffs meet the azure Atlantic Ocean. The unique natural pebble beach of Garajau with great amenities can be reached by cable car, which is just a 3 minute walk from the villa. The famous statue Cristo Rei is in full view of the property, standing close to the cliff edge. Further afield and only a 15-minute drive away is the centre of the lovely town of Funchal, with countless eateries and bars to try. It’s a culture vulture’s paradise with many museums, botanical gardens, and plenty of historical sites to enjoy.

Santa Cruz Municipal Tourist Tax - €2.00 per person per night for guests aged 13 and over, for the first 7 nights. Payable after guest details entered during check-in.
