Villa Diomedea is situated in a prime location in the heart of Praiano on the Amalfi Coast, nestled among lemon and olive trees with a spectacular view of the sea. The panorama includes the island of Capri, the Faraglioni, Positano, the Sorrento Peninsula, and the Li Galli islands, historically known as the islands of the sirens in Homer’s Odyssey and once owned by Rudolf Nureyev. Strategically positioned for exploring the region, the villa is six and a half kilometers from Positano, eight kilometers from Amalfi, thirty kilometers from Pompeii, and sixty kilometers from Naples International Airport. Capri can be reached within forty-five minutes by boat.
The property offers excellent accessibility, as the main entrance is level with the road, allowing guests to enter without climbing any steps. Private parking is available on-site for two standard-sized vehicles or three small cars. Essential services are within walking distance: the nearest restaurant is two hundred meters away, and a grocery store offering free delivery is three hundred meters away. A local bus stop is located just a few meters from the villa entrance. For beach access, La Gavitella beach is eight hundred meters away and can be reached via a path of three hundred steps, while Marina di Praia beach is a five-minute drive from the residence.

Villa Diomedea is a prestigious historical luxury residence of approximately 500 square meters, spanning three levels and capable of accommodating up to eight guests. The structure is characterized by its authentic architectural and decorative details preserved over centuries. On the ground floor, the main living area features high vaulted ceilings, handmade terracotta floors, and an elegant decorative stone fireplace, along with air conditioning and a dining table for ten people. The professional kitchen is fully equipped with a five-burner gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, ice maker, and toaster. Connected to the main space is a second living room with refined sofas; from here, a staircase of thirteen steps leads to a mezzanine level featuring a vaulted ceiling, a queen-size double bed, and a single bed. Descending eight steps from the second living room, guests find a wellness area with a wooden sauna and a full bathroom with a shower.
The sleeping quarters continue on the first floor with a single bedroom and its own en-suite bathroom. The second floor houses a third bedroom with a king-size bed, desk, and satellite television, and a fourth bedroom with two single beds that can be configured as a king-size bed upon request. These rooms share a large bathroom decorated with handmade mosaics, featuring a double sink and a Jacuzzi tub. The property also includes a private wine cellar with over one hundred labels of fine Italian and French wines and a massage room available on request. Outdoor living is distributed across five panoramic terraces. The first terrace of twenty square meters is adjacent to the living room. the second and third terraces, forty square meters each, feature bamboo pergolas, lemon trees, a built-in barbecue, and a wood-burning pizza oven. The fourth terrace of fifty square meters is adorned with eighteenth-century Neapolitan majolica benches, while the fifth is a fifteen-square-meter solarium with glass walls. The private pool, set into the rock and open from May to October, measures 2.5 by 7 meters with a depth ranging from 0.2 to 1.6 meters and includes a Jacuzzi corner and an outdoor shower.
For the 2025 season (May to October), the selling price is set at fourteen thousand euros per week, while the net price is eleven thousand two hundred euros. A security deposit of one thousand euros in cash is required upon arrival, and a tourist tax of three euros per person per day applies. The rental includes final cleaning, pool maintenance four times a week, linen and towel changes, Wi-Fi, one hour of daily concierge service, and a welcome basket. Extra services like a private chef or cooking classes are available at an additional cost. The cancellation policy requires a non-refundable 20% advance payment, with the remaining balance due one month before arrival, which is also non-refundable. In case of catastrophic events, the contract may be voided with a full refund. A specific pandemic clause allows for a refund or postponement if an essential travel ban is in place ten days or less before arrival.

The security deposit will be returned before departure, less any charges for accidental damage to the property.
