Set in the unspoiled Mugello countryside, Lovely Home Margherita is a rustic yet elegant retreat for friends or families looking for a relaxing escape. Recharge your batteries in comfort, lying by the private pool or exploring the surrounding woods and vineyards.

The apartment, which sleeps 6, is on the ground floor with a private garden. The spacious living/dining room has a contemporary sofa, a flat-screen TV and a dining table. Glass doors lead onto the garden. The modern kitchen is next to the sitting room. It is well-equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and Moka coffee maker, plus a table and chairs for quick snacks. French windows lead from the kitchen to one of the two outdoor dining areas.

The fully fenced garden includes a private swimming pool, an attractive shaded dining area and seating for sundowners

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: An airy bedroom furnished with a double bed, a single bed, flat-screen TV and a wardrobe. Glass doors give direct access to the garden
Bedroom 2: This second bedroom also has a double and a single bed, plus a flat-screen TV, a wardrobe and doors onto the garden.

Bathrooms
Bathroom 1: The pristine bathroom has a shower, basin, bidet and WC.
Bathroom 2: Another modern bathroom which has a shower, basin, bidet and WC.

Additional costs:
Tourist tax €2 per person per day (up to 6 days) for all guests over the age of 14, to be paid at the time of booking;
Cleaning fee: €155 per stay, payable at the time of booking.
Heating €5 per day from 15 October to 15 April, payable at the time of booking;
Air conditioning €5 per day from 1 June to 30 September, payable at the time of booking.
Security deposit of €1,500 for groups under 21.

Note:
The owners live on the first floor of the vacation home, with independent and separate access. They are very kind and discreet people who will be happy to help if necessary.
The last 300 meters of road to reach the house are unpaved.

Location
In the heart of Mugello, the house is surrounded by woods, vineyards and nature trails which guests can explore on foot or by bicycle.

For self-catering, there are several supermarkets and grocery stores within a 10-minute drive from the house. For the freshest local ingredients, Vicchio hosts a weekly market in Piazza 6 Marzo (8 minutes), every Thursday morning.

And if you want to visit Florence, no problem! Vicchio railway station is just a 5-minute drive from the house. From here, there are direct trains to the centre of Florence. In just 50 minutes, you will be in the heart of the Tuscan capital, without having to worry about traffic and parking.

Florence airport is a 55-minute drive, and Bologna’s Guglielmo Marconi airport is just 1 hour and 20 minutes.
