And of course there are excellent restaurants, bars and shops for daily needs within a few minutes' walk. There is much to discover in and around Sagres, the end of the known world: the Cabo São Vicente lighthouse, the seafaring school of national hero Henry the Explorer and the gorgeous bays along the coast.
