Situated on the lower ground floor of a 3-story villa, this air-conditioned escape is surrounded by lush greenery and outdoor spaces that are ideal for alfresco living. Guests will find an inviting outdoor pool with showers, a sun deck, padel courts and shared gardens with an outdoor dining area. There’s even a safe fenced garden and a small play area to keep small children entertained.

Inside the apartment features an open plan living space furnished with a comfortable double sofa bed, a dining table and a Smart flatscreen TV. This area also incorporates a small kitchen equipped with a Moka coffee machine, an induction hob, an oven, a microwave and a fridge freezer.

Location

Dimora Cristal apartment is ideally situated, on the outskirts of the historic town of Galatina, in the centre of the Salento peninsula, a 30-minute drive from both the East and West coasts. Visitors can easily reach both the sandy beach of Santa Catarina al Bagno and the port of Gallipoli (the Beautiful City), which was founded by Greek settlers thousands of years ago.

The city of Lecce, the “Florence of the South”, famous for its wonderful Baroque architecture and Roman ruins, is also a 30-minute drive away from the apartment.

Galatina itself is rich in history and cultural heritage, with a blend of medieval charm and Baroque elegance. The old town (a 6-minute drive) is a maze of narrow streets, elegant palazzi, and courtyards with plenty of restaurants, bars and boutiques. For the best local produce, Galatina’s weekly farmers market takes place every Thursday morning on Via Ippolito De Maria, an 8-minute drive away. There is also a restaurant and a supermarket, a 4-minute drive away.

The closest international airport is Brindisi, a 1-hour drive away.
