This countryside holiday home is in the Montecastelli Pisano region of Tuscany in Italy. It has 2 rustic bedrooms and can accommodate 4 guests. It has a balcony and is perfect for couples looking to spend their vacation together. The village of Montecastelli dates back to the 13th century and is located between the Val di Pavone and the Val di Cecina, on top of a hill at an altitude of 504 metres. The characteristic houses, made of local stones, give it a special atmosphere. The streets are two straight lines one above the other on top of the hill. Montecastelli is located 2 km from the river Peacock (Pavone) where it is possible to swim, to take long walks in a beautiful canyon until you reach the confluence with the river Cecina. The apartment is part of a very large and ancient house, in the center of the medieval village of Montecastelli-Pisano. It has a large kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a living room, a terrace where you can sit and have a beautiful view of the valley.
The situation with regard to traffic and parking differs from one town to the other. It might occur that only paid parking possibilities are available in the holiday home's surroundings
