Porto Relax Apartment is on the top floor of a private villa, just a 6-minute walk from the beach. It makes a wonderful holiday base for family or friends, whether you want a relaxing beach holiday or to explore the Salento Peninsula.

Guests will love the shaded balcony with panoramic sea views. It is furnished with a table and chairs for wonderful meals al fresco. Inside, the open-plan living/dining room has a contemporary sofa, another dining table and chairs, plus a flat-screen TV. The separate kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and a Mokka coffee machine.

There is a second balcony at the back of the apartment, which is furnished with sun loungers and chairs, so guests can relax in total privacy.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe and French windows out onto the rear balcony.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom’s two single beds can be joined.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a single bed.

Bathroom
The tiled bathroom is equipped with a shower, bidet, basin, washing machine and WC.

Location
The apartment is just 3 minutes from the famous coastal spa resort of Santa Cesarea Terme, with its thermal baths and fascinating caves. There are also some lovely beaches nearby including Porto Miggiano Beach (6-minute walk) which has fine sand and crystal-clear sea.

The charming town of Castro (7 minutes) has an ancient historic centre and stunning granite coastline which you can explore by boat. Not to be missed is the city of Lecce (40 minutes drive), known as the “Florence of the South” and blessed with wonderful Baroque architecture as well as Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit. Not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.

Santa Cesarea Terme has a wide range of restaurants and pizzerie serving delicious local cuisine. For self-catering, the twice-weekly market in Lecce is a treasure trove of the finest regional produce from fish, vegetables and fruit to olive oil and cheese. Alternatively, visit the smaller weekly markets in the towns nearby.

The closest airport is at Brindisi - 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car.
