When you plan your holiday, with the people you love the most, you want everything to be perfect! You look for hospitality, comfort, pleasure, and luxury. That’s why we created Villa Eftihia, which in Greek means happiness.
History of the villa
The villa is named after our grandmother Eftihia Mina Ganotaki who lived in the villa with her husband Georgios Andrea Psaros, and it was her ‘dowry’ from our great-grandfather Minas.
We, today’s the descendants of the villa “Eftihia” decided to renovate and redecorate completely, by keeping the traditional architecture and decoration of the houses of Lindos, but with adding valuable amenities.
Description of the villa
The villa is suitable for families or groups and can accommodate up to 8 adults.
On the top floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and a washroom.
The living room has a traditional-style wooden sofa and a fireplace. It is fully air-conditioned. From the living room, there is access to a small balcony that overlooks the Acropolis.
On the top floor there is also a rooftop terrace with direct view of the Acropolis, the ancient theatre and the sea. It is the perfect spot to enjoy your meal under the shade sail during the day or your drink at the bar at night.
On the ground floor, there are three separate bedrooms that can be accessed individually from the courtyard.
Each one with its own unique name:
RODON: the symbolic flower of ancient Rhodes.
TRIIRIS: the ancient Rhodian ship with three banks of oars.
AKROPOLIS: the settlement of an upper part of an ancient Greek city.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower, a spacious wardrobe, a dressing table, a smart 32-inch TV, air conditioning and a safe box. The mattresses and pillows are from the famous brand COCO-MAT, made from natural materials and based on the orthosomatic principle.
The RODON and AKROPOLIS rooms have a handmade wooden traditional “PANGA” bed that can sleep up to 3 adults.
The TRIIRIS room has a handmade iron double bed with classic Rhodian design.
There is a separate utility room that has a fridge, a washing machine, a steam iron and ironing board and a network printer.
In the courtyard there is a brick BBQ, a traditional wood oven, two large shading umbrellas, tables and chairs.
There is also a small garden, with an orange and a lemon tree. Next to it there is a platform with a hot tub (jacuzzi) for six people and sunbeds.
