MADE is a small seaside village (settlement) by the sea, built on a natural amphitheatrical hill. It is the ideal place for a quiet and relaxing holiday, with a public beach with sun loungers and umbrellas (3 € per person cost). Holidaymakers can also enjoy, swimming, fishing, diving, organized mini cruises and even hiking. In a very short distance the holidaymaker can find places to have fun in clubs, restaurants, bars, etc. Opposite the village of MADE is the 5-star hotel ‘CHC ATHINA PALACE RESORT & SPA’ where you can enjoy your drink or anything you like at the corresponding cost.
There is a mini market inside the building. There is a car rental office within a 6-minute walk.
Just four minutes by car is the village of LYGARIA where there are mini markets, excellent taverns with traditional Cretan cuisine, a diving center and an organized large beach with umbrellas, sunbeds and showers. In addition, at a distance of 10 km, you can visit the tourist village of Agia Pelagia, where you can find large supermarkets, bars, medical centers, nightclubs, a pharmacy.

In front of us and descending about 40m is the sandy beach with crystal clear waters. It is ideal for children, as it is shallow. It is organized with umbrellas, sun loungers and showers and a snack bar. There is a diving center and a small boat for short cruises to Agia Pelagia, Ligaria and other quiet beaches to enjoy sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling.
