Location
The apartment is just a 30-minute walk from the centre of Olbia, which has much to offer. The medieval basilica of San Simplicio (8 minutes) is worth a visit, as are the cafés around Piazza Matteoti (10 minutes) or along the palm-fringed waterfront (12 minutes).

There are many open-air markets in Olbia where you can find the freshest local ingredients and specialities. The best is on Saturday morning in Via Sangallo (15 minute walk). Otherwise, there are supermarkets and smaller shops close by.

The closest beaches are at Pittulongu (17 minutes) and Spiaggia Le Saline (20 minutes). Both have crystal-clear water and are excellent for snorkelling and other water sports. For the glamour of the famous Costa Smeralda head to the resort town of Porto Rotondo (20 minutes) and enjoy a day exploring the upmarket boutiques and restaurants there.

Olbia Airport, is just a 15-minute drive. The Port of Olbia (11 minutes) offers ferries to Livorno on the Italian mainland.
